Twitter Engagement

I followed 5 brands that I use constantly throughout my everyday life on Twitter (@Nike, @Starbucks, @Amazon, @Apple, @Netflix). Twitter is easily assessable site that enables you to interact with companies and organizations. I tweeted out all five of these brands in hopes to get a response back. You can either compliment a company or say something negative that happened to you for them to engage with you. I decided to tweet compliments to all five of the brands I choose. The only response I got back was from @Amazon. I tweeted out to them saying, "@Amazon I love you!" Who doesn't love a quick and affordable online shopping website where you can get pretty much anything you desire. The delivery process for them is very nice too if you happen to have amazon prime. Anyways, they quickly responded back to me with the response, "Oh you, you're making me blush! <3" I noticed after engaging with Amazon that they are very active on their Twitter page. They mainly respond to most of there interactions on Twitter with either a favorite or an actual response. I was not very lucky with getting a response from the other four brands I chose. All of the brands I did choose are active on their tTwitter pages and do enage with people but I do realize it is hard to respond to every person that they get a notification from. I noticed for @Apple most of the time they have the @AppleSupport page reach out to customers who are having trouble with their @Apple products and need assistance. @Netflix mainly favorites tweets from fans but they do occasionally respond back to comments. I feel that maybe if I would have tweeted both a compliment and a negative comment to all the brands I may have gotten more responses and engagement from these brands. I was happy to see that I did atleast get one response from @Amazon though.
